Ilse Verheyden is currently a teacher of secondary education in Dutch and history at Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat. Previously, Ilse has also taught a variety of subjects such as history, Dutch, culture studies, and society and well-being at Annuntia instituut wijnegem and Sint Norbertusinstituut Antwerpen. Ilse has experience as a teacher in both primary and secondary education, and has a diverse educational background, including a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching and a Master's degree in History.
