Steve Gill

Steve Gill is a seasoned professional in the automotive industry with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at SINTERCAST AB since June 2020, Steve previously held key positions at First Hydrogen, including Head of Automotive and Chief Executive Officer - Automotive, from January 2022 to July 2024. As the Founder and Consultant Director of Blakeswood Consulting Limited from February 2019 to December 2021, Steve specialized in automotive strategy, product development, and powertrain technology, working with notable clients such as AVL Powertrain and the UK Automotive Council. Steve's notable tenure at Ford Motor Company spanned nearly two decades, where roles included Director of Powertrain Engineering for Ford of Europe and various chief engineer positions. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Engineer of Technology & Research at Perkins Engines Company Limited, coupled with a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
