Maggie Gibson

Maggie Gibson has extensive teaching experience, currently serving as a Creative Writing teacher and Future Problem Solving coach at Sinton ISD since 1973. In the Creative Writing role, Maggie guides students through college and scholarship application processes while teaching various writing forms, including fiction and poetry. As a Future Problem Solving coach, Maggie instructs gifted and talented students in the 6-step creative problem-solving model for competitions. Previously, Maggie was an Adjunct Instructor for English 1301 and English 1302 at Del Mar College from 2008 to 2013. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction-English from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
