Ion Dhont

Ion Dhont is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as the Marketing Manager for Sioen Industries, overseeing the marketing and communications efforts for the Coating division and the group since September 2023. Previously, Ion held the position of Brand Marketeer for Direct Coating, and from June 2020 to September 2023, worked as the Sales & Marketing Manager for Geronimo Games Benelux, facilitating partnerships with key accounts and managing media relations. Ion founded InterMenzo to enhance communication training using board games, and has experience in marketing strategies and digital initiatives from roles at Dewulf nv, Heel Belgium, and as a Public Relations Consultant at InstiCOM. Ion started a career in communications with internships at Hill & Knowlton and Press and Publications in Bruges, and possesses advanced degrees in Multilingual Business Communication and Applied Linguistics from Ghent University and HOGENT.
