Jongki Lee

Jongki Lee is an experienced professional in the field of metallurgical engineering, currently serving as the Director of Cell Engineering at Sion Power Corporation since September 2025. Prior to this role, Jongki held the position of Director of the Battery Cell Development Center at VINFAST from August 2023 to July 2025. Additionally, Jongki worked as a Principal Engineer at Xos Trucks from February 2022 to June 2023 and at Samsung SDI from September 2000 to January 2022. Jongki Lee holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metallurgical Engineering, a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, all obtained from Yonsei University between 1985 and 2000.
