D R G has worked in various roles in the defense and security industry since 1994. D R started their career in the British Army as a Counter Intelligence SNCO (2 MI Bn), where they managed investigational cases, security audits, intelligence analysis and operational oversight of a UK based security team. D R G then joined Synectic Systems Group Limited in 2006 as a Sales Manager, responsible for selling high end Electro-Optical (EO) and Thermal Imaging based surveillance systems into the UK and Global Defence and Law Enforcement sectors. In 2008, they moved to FLIR Systems as a Business Development Manager, Government Systems LAND Europe, where they were responsible for market shaping and subsequent sales of Thermal Imaging, Night Vision and Ground Radar (FMCW/Doppler) based surveillance products to Military and Government clients. In 2012, they joined Chess Dynamics Ltd as an International Sales Manager, responsible for the development and implementation of an International sales strategy. In 2014, they moved to Exelis (now part of Harris Corporation) as an International New Business Lead, Airborne ISR (Space & Intelligence Systems Division), responsible for leading development and implementation of an International Sales Strategy and Plan for the Airborne ISR / Remote Sensing markets across all regions Outside Continental United States (OCONUS). In 2015, they moved to Harris Corporation as a Principal Sales Account Manager, UK Geospatial Solutions, responsible for the sales of Geospatial software solutions into UK and Scandinavian defence/commercial markets. Finally, in 2021, D R G moved to SIONYX as an International Sales Manager, EMEA, with Sales and Business Development responsibility for Sionyx Digital Night Vision products across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

D R G's education history includes attending Bedminster Down from 1985 to 1990, Bedminster Down 6th Form College from 1990 to 1991, the University of Leicester from 2003 to 2006 where they obtained a BA in Security and Risk Management, and UEFA from 2016 to 2017 where they obtained a B License in Football Coaching.
