Karin Fendrich

Karin Fendrich is the CFO at SIOR. Karin has over 25 years of experience in budget management, event planning, and conferences.

Karin started their career at Hargrove, LLC in June 2016 as the Executive Director of Budget & Estimating. In this role, they were responsible for budgeting for major tradeshows and conferences, such as Modern Day Marine and New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) Workshop. Karin was also responsible for business process improvement and cost savings.

In September 2021, Karin joined SIOR as the CFO. In this role, they are responsible for forecasting, full event budgets, and vendor invoicing for rapid-execution events. Karin is also responsible for quote preparation and account management for SIOR's 6 tradeshows annually.

Through their management of financial operations, Karin has helped SIOR deliver events within 2.5 days, leading to the highest profit margin in company history.

Karin Fendrich earned their undergraduate degree from George Mason University.

Karin Fendrich reports to Robert Thornburgh, CEO. They work with Matthew Leguen de Lacroix - Director, SIOR European Member Relations, Brad Moffatt - Regional Director, South, and William Burgess - Regional Director, Southeast.
