Heath Carroll

Heath Carroll is a Principal Software Engineer at SIOS Technology Corp. since May 2015, specializing in automating cloud deployments and software development in C/C++/C#, as well as Windows kernel mode driver maintenance and operational knowledge of Microsoft technologies. Previously, Heath served as an educator at Central Carolina Technical College from August 2011 to May 2015, teaching programming fundamentals and network design, while managing a department web server. Heath also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, focusing on botnet detection research and teaching programming courses. Additionally, Heath spent ten years in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician 1st Class and Reactor Operator, managing micro-electronics equipment for nuclear reactor operations. Heath holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science, a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance and Security, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science, all from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.
