Burak Sargut

Burak Sargut is currently the Chief Product Officer at Sipay since 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at BKM Bankalararası Kart Merkezi, including Director of Product & Relationship Management, Director of Product Management, and Director of Relationship Management from 2012 to 2023. Before that, they worked as the Multi-Channel Customer Relationship Management Director at TEB from 2010 to 2012. Burak also worked at Fortis Bank A.Ş as the Channel Management Department Director and Retail Banking Marketing Department Director, and as the Business Transformation Office (BTO) Director from 2006 to 2010. Burak started their career as an Assistant Vice President in the Credits Department at Finansbank in 2006. Prior to that, they worked at Credit Europe Bank N.V. in various roles, including Corporate Marketing Department Business Project Leader, Business Development and Strategy Department Senior Project Manager, and Product Manager - Assistant Manager from 2001 to 2006. Burak also worked at Finansbank as a Specialist in the Project Management Group from 1999 to 2001. Burak's first job was at Unilever as a UNIPRO / Sales Representative in 1999.

Burak Sargut holds a Master's degree in International Business Administration from Istanbul University, which they completed from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, studying from 1991 to 1995. Burak also attended Özel Evrim Lisesi from 1985 to 1991, where they focused on studying mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Burak obtained a certification in "Kodlamanın Temelleri" from BayBayNakit Akademi in 2018.
