Abeer S. Ahmad

Abeer S. Ahmad is a skilled Research Analyst currently working at SIPRI since April 2021, focusing on climate change and risk research. Previously, Abeer served as a Research Assistant within the Peace and Development Programme and held roles as a Research Assistant at IHE - The Swedish Institute for Health Economics, conducting comparative analyses of cancer care in the Middle East and Africa. Abeer has also coordinated programs at Uppsala University and the Swedish Institute for Global Health Transformation (SIGHT). With a background in dental practice and project management, Abeer has extensive experience in liaising with various stakeholders and managing research projects. Abeer holds a Master of Science in Global Health from Uppsala University and pursued health economics studies at the University of Oxford, along with dental training from Cairo University, including a specialized residency in paediatric dentistry.
