Ales Kosir

Ales Kosir is an accomplished IT and quality management professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Head of the IT Department at the University of Ljubljana since July 2015, Ales also contributes to the Slovensko društvo za jezikovne tehnologije as a Treasurer on the Executive Board since December 2010. Ales is an international auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 at the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology. Previously, Ales was the Managing Director and an elected Member of the Executive Board at the Slovensko združenje za kakovost in odličnost from 2011 to July 2015. Ales held the position of Senior Project Manager at SAP from June 2010 to June 2014 and served as a Project Manager at Hermes SoftLab for nearly 14 years. As a member of the Council of Experts for the Slovenska fundacija za poslovno odličnost from 2011 to December 2013 and with a commitment to the Lugos Association from 1997 to 2010, Ales has demonstrated leadership and expertise in quality management. Ales holds a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Physics degree from the University of Ljubljana.
