Michael Divers Fcipd

Michael Divers FCIPD has more than 40 years of work experience, starting with a role as an HR Manager at Glasgow City Council in 1976. Michael then moved on to become the Head of HR at Scottish Enterprise and later became the Managing Director of Good Wine and Foods Limited.

In 1997, they joined the Student Loans Company Limited as the Head of HR, where they implemented a progressive HR Strategy during a time of significant change. Michael then worked as the Director of Consultancy Services at Bartlett Scott Edgar Limited, where they developed and implemented a successful business strategy.

From 2002 to 2005, they served as the Managing Director of People Consulting at TMP Worldwide, leading the integration of the BSEL business and creating a new People Consulting division. Michael continued their career with TMP Worldwide as the Managing Director of People Consulting in the UK and Ireland until 2008.

In 2013, they became the Managing Director of ACT Clean, responsible for delivering the company's growth strategy. Michael then served as the Group HR Director at WYG Group from 2015 to 2017, ensuring the development and delivery of HR strategies to support the company's objectives.

Currently, they hold the position of People Director at Sir Robert McAlpine, where they oversee the HR function of the company. Throughout their career, Michael Divers FCIPD has gained extensive experience in HR management and has successfully implemented various strategies to support business growth and development.

Michael Divers FCIPD attended Glasgow Caledonian University from 1984 to 1987 where they received their Fellow CIPD qualification.
