Kerri Kawaguchi, MBA, has a diverse work experience in the marketing and restaurant industry. Kerri started their career as a Beverage Manager at Turtle Jack's Muskoka Grill, where they focused on creating an engaging atmosphere and excellent dining experience. Kerri then moved on to Blueprint Agencies, a marketing and communications firm, where they served as a Production Manager and worked on projects in various sectors. After that, they returned to Turtle Jack's as the Local Store Marketing and Front of the House Manager, where they ensured smooth daily operations and managed the team. Kerri then joined Service Inspired Restaurants (SIR Corp.) as an Assistant Brand Manager and gradually progressed to roles such as Brand Manager and Senior Brand Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Marketing Director at SIR Corp., overseeing marketing strategies and initiatives. Additionally, they had a summer internship as a liaison with US Lobbyist Mike Balzano, where they collaborated on discussions about technical advancements in submarines and the War on Iraq.
Kerri Kawaguchi, MBA earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Guelph during the period of 2011-2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Hotel and Food Administration at the University of Guelph from 2005-2010. In 2014-2015, they pursued studies in Graphic Design at Humber College.
Sir Royalty Income Fund
SIR Royalty Income Fund (the Fund) holds investment in SIR Corp (SIR). The Funds' investment, SIR is engaged in the business of owning and operating full service restaurants in Canada. SIR has concept restaurant brands, including Jack Astor's Bar and Grill and Canyon Creek Chop House, and signature restaurant brands, such as Reds Wine Tavern, Reds Midtown Tavern, Far Niente/FOUR/Petit Four and the Loose Moose Tap & Grill, which are used by SIR under a license agreement with SIR Royalty Limited Partnership (the Partnership). The Fund receives distribution income from its investment in the Partnership and interest income from the SIR Loan. The Fund intends to pay distributions to unitholders on a monthly basis. The Fund indirectly participates in the revenues generated under the License and Royalty Agreement through its Investment in the Partnership. SIR also owns and operates a Duke's Refresher & Bar located in downtown Toronto and one seasonal restaurant, Abbey's Bakehouse.
