Rebecca Chipman, NBCT

Rebecca Chipman, NBCT, has a diverse professional background. In 2009, they began their career as a Legislative Intern for Delegate Rob Bell. Rebecca then worked as a Consultant for Benedetti & Farris, LLC. from 2010 to 2012. During this time, they also worked as a Contract Associate for Robert Half from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Rebecca worked as a Humanities Teacher for Veritas School. Rebecca then moved to Henrico County Public Schools, where they worked as an NBCT - AYA History Teacher, Swim Team Coach, and Cross Country Head Coach from 2016 to 2020. Most recently, Rebecca has been working as the Operations Lead for Chipman for Richmond City Council since 2020.

Rebecca Chipman has a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from the University of Virginia, which they obtained in 2010. In 2011, they obtained a Graduate Degree in Teacher Licensure from the University of Richmond. In 2009, they also attended the University of Oxford for Comparative History between Britain and America. In 2020, they obtained National Board Certification for Adolescents and Young Adults from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. In 2022, they obtained certifications from LinkedIn for Agile Foundations, Articulate 360: Interactive Learning, Adobe Captivate 2019: Advanced Techniques, and Instructional Design: Adult Learners. Rebecca also holds Teacher's Licensure: Secondary Education Social Studies Content Knowledge.
