Jeferson Zanim

Jeferson Zanim has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities.

Jeferson started their career at Liveware, Tecnologia a Serviço as a System Analyst, where they worked on multiple projects in areas like telecommunications, sales planning, and business operations. Jeferson also took on leadership roles, coordinating small teams and introducing new development methodologies and technologies.

Jeferson then joined IBM as a Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in changing the architecture of the IBM Maximo Spatial product to integrate ESRI ArcGIS. Jeferson also provided consultancy services to Petrobrás, the largest company in South America, helping them track the construction process of oil platforms.

After that, Jeferson worked at Ação Informática An Ingram Micro Company as a GIS Product Manager. In this role, they handled pre-sales management, documented customer product requirements, and delivered effective presentations to a wide range of audiences.

Jeferson then joined CGI, where they served as a Project Manager. Jeferson was responsible for planning, controlling, and delivering multiple projects. Jeferson also coordinated actions between third-party software providers and clients and delivered integrations for various platforms like GE Smallworld, Oracle Spatial, SAP, and custom solutions.

Jeferson later joined Sonda IT as a Project Manager. Here, they managed large projects with budgets over $1M and provided second-line support for small and medium projects. Jeferson also handled project portfolio forecasting, cash flow analysis, and resource leveling.

Next, they worked at eSpatial as a Professional Services Consultant. In this role, they delivered a portfolio of solutions to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. Jeferson used Agile methodology and implemented an automated DevOps pipeline. Jeferson also ensured compliance with ISO 27001.

Currently, Jeferson is working at Siren, where they hold the position of Chief Product Officer. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Product Management, where they oversaw the product portfolio focused on facilitating investigations in various domains. Jeferson maintained a backlog of work, gathered feedback from customers, and facilitated collaboration among developer teams. Before that, they were the Head of Client Services, leading customer onboarding, training, and ensuring long-term customer success. Jeferson also spearheaded the digital transformation to support the company's growth.

Throughout their career, Jeferson has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to successfully deliver projects across different industries and domains.

Jeferson Zanim completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Systems from FAI - Centro de Ensino Superior em Gestão, Tecnologia e Educação, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, with a duration from 2015 to 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Jeferson obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in July 2021. Jeferson also holds the Oracle Spatial 11g Certified Implementation Specialist certification awarded by Oracle in January 2013 and the Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert certification obtained in September 2011.
