Parnika Agrawal

Parnika Agrawal is currently the Head of Product at SirenOpt since May 2025, following a successful tenure as a Staff Engineer at Applied Materials from October 2017 to May 2025, where Parnika led the development of products in the Digital Twins space for semiconductor hardware, enhancing R&D acceleration and sustainability in chip manufacturing. Parnika also served as a Fellow at Type One Ventures in late 2022 and completed a research internship at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in 2015, focusing on spin transport in topological insulators, which resulted in a significant increase in magnetic switching efficiency. Parnika's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a B.Tech. in the same field from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, with experience as a Teaching Assistant at MIT, where instruction was provided to undergraduate students on materials characterization.
