Niklas Jungner

Niklas Jungner is an experienced actuary currently serving as a Reserving Actuary at SiriusPoint since June 2010, where responsibilities include the automation of reporting processes and the maintenance and enhancement of technical provisions models for Solvency 2. Previously, Niklas held an R&D Actuary position focused on developing statistical and actuarial methods for modeling and risk management, including a non-parametric Bayesian method for insurance loss analysis. In the role of Pricing Actuary, Niklas specialized in property reinsurance pricing and contributed to the design of a sophisticated reinsurance pricing and portfolio management system. Earlier experience includes a stint as a Statistician/Survey Administrator at Statistics Sweden, where Niklas contributed to the production of national statistics and co-authored a report on ICT usage. Niklas holds a Master of Science in Actuarial Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Statistics and Probability, both from Stockholm University.
