Karen Nordblom

Karen Nordblom has extensive work experience in various roles within the insurance industry. Karen is currently employed at SiriusPoint as the Global Head of Technical Accounting, a role they took on in February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of IACC at SiriusPoint from June 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining SiriusPoint, Nordblom worked at HUB International as a Commercial Operations Manager from March 2020 to June 2022. Karen also held positions at Aon, where they served as a Client Operations Director from March 2019 to March 2020. Karen worked as the Nordic Chief Operating Officer from an unknown start date to February 2019 and as a Strategy Manager from February 2017 to an unknown end date in 2018.

Nordblom began their career at Lloyd's as an Analyst, Capital and Broker Relationships from January 2005 to July 2006. Karen then worked at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group as a Business Analyst from July 2006 to December 2008. Later, they joined Zurich Insurance plc as a Business Analyst from December 2008 to August 2012 and later became the Head of Planning and Forecasting from August 2012 to January 2017.

Karen Nordblom has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Economics from Concordia University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2003. Karen then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics at McGill University from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they enrolled in the Chartered Insurance Institute, where they completed an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from 2005 to 2007, specializing in the field of Insurance.
