David Hayes

David Hayes is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Sirius XM Radio Inc. since March 2014, David previously held the position of Senior Researcher at Research In Motion from June 2008 to March 2014. Prior to that, David was a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Motorola from September 1988 to May 2008, where responsibilities included leading the engineering and software architecture for a GPS-based cellular tracking system with a focus on battery efficiency. David earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1984 and 1988.
