Daniel is currently working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at SiriusXT, where they are part of a small engineering development team focused on a complex and innovative SXT system. Daniel'sresponsibilities include computer-aided design, developing assembly requirements, and collaborating with scientists and product managers.
Prior to this, Daniel worked at BAE Systems as a Senior Structural Engineer from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they used engineering hand calculations to provide seat design solutions and maintained communication with interfacing partners. Daniel was also responsible for creating detailed seat design technical reports and managing seat design solutions using product life cycle management software.
Before BAE Systems, Daniel worked at Belcan from 2013 to 2019. Daniel first served as a Senior Engineer - Stress Analysis, performing various stress analyses on Rolls-Royce Jet Engines using FEA. Later, they took on the role of Bearings Designer & Analyst, where they led the bearings design for the Rolls-Royce UltraFan Demonstrator engine and created detailed component design reports. During this time, they also utilized 3D CAD software for modeling component concepts.
Furthermore, Daniel had a 10-month secondment at Rolls-Royce in 2017, where they provided bearing and component design support for the Ultrafan engine development program.
