Trafton Drew

Trafton Drew has an extensive work experience starting from 1999. Trafton began their career as a Research Assistant at UNC and worked there until 2002. Trafton then served as a Research Assistant at the University of Wales for a year, followed by another year as a Research Assistant at the University of California. From 2004 to 2009, Trafton was a Graduate Student at the University of Oregon. Trafton then joined Harvard University as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and later became a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, Trafton worked as the Principal Investigator at the U.S. Army Natick Soldier RDEC, leading research focused on aiding soldiers in complex environments. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at the University of Utah, where they started as an Assistant Professor and was later promoted to the role of Associate Professor of Psychology. Trafton currently holds the position of Senior User Experience Researcher at Sirona Medical since 2022.

Trafton Drew attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Oregon from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Psychology.
