Rex Colin Mitchell is a software engineer at SirsiDynix, involved in the tech industry since January 2022. Prior to this role, Rex served as a cello instructor at Gifted Music School from June 2016 to June 2022 and was a graduate student in the Master of Software Development program at the University of Utah from August 2020 to January 2022. Additional experience includes positions such as membership secretary for the Suzuki Association of Utah, chamber music instructor for the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute, and lead teacher for the University of Arizona String Project. Rex holds a Master of Software Development degree from the University of Utah and a Master of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Arizona, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University.
