Michael von Poncet M.D.

Michael von Poncet MD PhD has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical fields. Michael has held various leadership positions at companies like Sirtex Medical Limited, Novartis, and The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Michael has also been involved with organizations such as the European Society of Cardiology and the National Hypertension Control Roundtable. Their roles have included Vice President Medical Affairs Americas & EMEA, Executive Medical Director, Medical Head of Neuroscience, and Chief Medical Officer.

Michael von Poncet obtained their MD in Humanmedizin from the University of Düsseldorf in 1995. Michael also completed a Facharzt/Schwerpunkt degree in Kardiologie from the same university in 1995. In 2008, they obtained a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School. More recently, they have completed certifications such as Communicating for Impact, Problem Solving, and Team Management Senior Executive Program from McKinsey & Company.
