Alex Panait

Alex Panait is currently an advisor at Siscale. Alex previously worked as a senior manager at PwC from July 2016 to October 2018. Alex has expertise across US GAAP, US Statutory, IFRS and Embedded Value reporting. Alex has also led audit work over structured insurance transactions with major players in the industry involving complex and significant accounting judgements. Alex has provided technical advice on technical US accounting regulations and has designed and supervised execution of audit work over actuarial valuation system conversions. In addition, they have managed territory engagement fee negotiations, budgets, resource allocation and client relationships. Alex has also recruited and managed staff, including assessing performance and providing career counseling and mentoring. Alex has taught various US accounting regulation and audit methodology courses to both internal and external audiences.

Alex Panait is a certified public accountant who has also received certifications from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and PwC in Business Analytics: Data Wrangling, Human-Centered Design, Intelligent Process Automation, and Data Tools and Visualization. Alex Panait began their educational career by studying Economics at the Romanian Banking Institute before moving on to receive their Master's in Economics from the same school. Later, they studied Economics at Academia de Studii Economice din București before receiving their Bachelor's degree.
