Hayley Barnfield

Hayley Barnfield has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Teacher at Siskin Children's Institute since August 2019. Previously, Hayley coordinated student development at Covenant College from August 2015 to July 2019, where responsibilities included managing part-time employees, maintaining administrative schedules, overseeing the student information database, and coordinating a volunteer program. Earlier roles include teaching and serving as Alternate Director at Sonrise Christian Education Center, substituting within Webster Groves School District, and various daycare positions at Red Tree Community Churches, Kids Corral, YMCA, and Rascal Express. Hayley holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Belhaven University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Baptist University, following an Associate degree in the same field from John A. Logan College.

Founded in 1950 by Mose and Garrison Siskin in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Siskin Children's Institute achieves its mission through, pediatric healthcare services, education, home & community-based programs, and outreach services Education Our Siskin Early Learning Center provides a high quality preschool education to young children with and without disabilities, including children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, chromosomal abnormality and brain injury. Health Care The Siskin Center for Developmental Pediatrics is a regional developmental pediatric center, led by a team of developmental pediatricians, with services available in Chattanooga and Nashville, TN. Children are referred to the Institute for medical, psychological and cognitive assessment, diagnosis and treatment, including, occupational, speech and language, applied behavior analysis, and other therapies as well as counseling and social skills groups. Home Visiting The Siskin Home & Community-Based Early Intervention program is designed to help parents, other caregivers and children with special needs gain the knowledge and confidence they need to be successful in life. Through visits with a developmental therapist, the family receives information, support, guidance and consultation about improving the child’s and family’s quality of life.
