Monique Berke is Vice President of Community & Corporate Engagement with the United Way of Greater Chattanooga. Prior to this, she was Vice President of Investment Operations for Unum Group, where her team managed more than $40 billion in assets for the Corporation. She oversaw operations for all non-investment related matters and researches and recommended strategic growth opportunities for the Investment Group. She has also served as Vice President of Human Resources as well as Vice President of Enterprise Program Management.
Earlier, she was Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for External Affairs at The Ochs Center for Metropolitan Studies.
She serves on the boards of Cornerstone Bancshares, The rotary Club of Chattanooga and the Slate Foundation. She was the 2008 Chattanooga Woman of Distinction and was named one of Fortune 1000 Corporations’ Top Hispanic Executives in 2000.
Monique earned a BA in psychology and an MBA/Public Management from Stanford University.
