Jesse Parks

Jesse Parks has over 20 years of experience in various IT roles. They started their career in 2000 as a Platoon Sergeant in the Infantry for the Oregon Army National Guard Recruiting (ORNG), where they served for over 21 years. In 2012, Jesse joined Southern Oregon University as a Network Lab Administrator. From 2013 to 2023, they worked at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, starting as a System Engineer and then progressing to IT Operations Manager and eventually Director of Information Technology. Currently, Jesse holds the position of IT Director at Siskiyou Community Health Center.

Jesse Parks completed an Associate of Sciences Transfer degree in Computer Science at Rogue Community College from 2010 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Southern Oregon University from 2011 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Jesse Parks obtained the GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) from GIAC Certifications in August 2018. They also acquired the GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) certification from GIAC Certifications in October 2019. Additionally, they obtained the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification from GIAC in November 2020 and the GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP) certification from GIAC Certifications in April 2021. Most recently, in August 2022, they earned the GIAC Certified Project Manager Certification (GCPM) from GIAC Certifications.

Siskiyou Community Health Center

Based in the growing Southern Oregon community of Grants Pass, Siskiyou Community Health Center is a primary care medical home designed to treat and care for the medical needs of the entire family. Operating on a sliding scale and offering services ranging from general medical care, behavioral health services, and an on-site pharmacy, to dental needs and community Outreach, Siskiyou focuses on the under-served and often uninsured sector of the Rogue Valley. Siskiyou has two medical facilities, a dental facility, and three School-Based Health Centers operating from within all three schools in the Illinois Valley. Striving for excellence, Siskiyou seeks to identify and provide care for the primary health needs of our community in a professional and compassionate manner.
