Alejandro Echeverri

Alejandro Echeverri is an experienced professional in commercial operations and business development, currently serving as the Global Head of Commercial Operations at Sistema.bio/Sistema Biobolsa since March 2024. In this role, Alejandro is focused on creating a unified commercial framework to enhance scalability across teams in Latin America, Africa, and Asia while implementing policies for effective P&L management. Prior to this position, Alejandro held significant roles such as Global Head of Direct Sales at Mawingu, where Alejandro expanded the company’s market presence and tripled its customer base, and Chief Commercial Officer. Alejandro also has a diverse background in leading commercial initiatives, including managing teams in Kenya and contributing to community development and education projects in Colombia and the U.S. Alejandro earned a Master’s degree in International Development Management from The University of Manchester and holds an Honors BA in International Relations from Saint Anselm College.
