Amy Samstad is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in various acute care settings. Since July 2012, Amy has been working in the Float Pool at Sisters of Charity Health System, providing care across multiple units including PPU, PACU, GI, Medical, Surgical, Telemetry, Observation, and Step-Down Units. Prior to this role, Amy worked as a travel RN with Cross Country TravCorps from February 2011 to July 2012, completing an assignment on a Telemetry unit at Good Samaritan Hospital in Colorado. Amy's nursing career began at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, where from September 2008 to February 2011, care was provided in a dynamic medical inpatient unit catering to general and intermediate care patients, including those on telemetry, vents, and cardiac drips. Amy holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained in 2008.
