Margaret Haik

Margaret Haik is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth since February 2023. Previously, Margaret held the same title at the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in the Kansas City Province from August 2011 to February 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing print and digital communications, media relations, and marketing collaboration with province ministries. As a freelance graphic designer from 2007 to 2023, Margaret worked with various clients, creating a range of printed materials and negotiating printing services. Margaret's background also includes roles as Music Director/Performer at Theatre at Vis and Bulletin Editor/Music Educator at St. Peter's School and Church, where significant contributions to music education and fundraising were made. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication from Washington State University and a Graphic Design certificate from the Kansas City Art Institute, alongside a BME in Music Education from Loyola University New Orleans.
