Robotics Systems Engineer at Sisu

Roger Black has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Robotics Systems Engineer at Sisu since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at BYU Mechanical Design Collective from 2020. During the same time, they also served as an Asset Manager / Programmer at WesTech Engineering, and as an Engineering Intern. Before that, Roger worked as a Research Assistant at BYU Department of Mechanical Engineering from 2019. Roger gained valuable programming skills as a Computer Programmer at Brigham Young University Office of Information Technology from 2016 to 2019, where they developed RESTful microservices using various technologies. Their work experience also includes an IT Support Internship at ERCOT in 2018.

Roger Black obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, which they pursued from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022.
