Melinda Yates

Melinda Yates is an experienced professional with a diverse background in design and dog training. Currently serving as the Lead Trainer at Sit Means Sit Dog Training since July 2017, Melinda specializes in obedience training for dogs of all ages and behavioral issues. Prior to this role, Melinda worked as a Structural Designer at Engalnder dZignPak from November 2008 to July 2017, where responsibilities included designing point-of-purchase displays across various materials and markets. Melinda also held the position of Structural Design & Fulfillment Project Manager at Liberty Carton Company from September 2001 to November 2008, along with several years as a Structural Designer at Harris Packaging Corp./American Carton Co. from 1996 to 2001. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Architecture/Graphics from the University of North Texas, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
