Marcia M Gipson

Marcia M Gipson has extensive experience in service operations and management within the travel and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Service Operations for The Americas at SITA since August 2000, Gipson oversees a team of 300, managing $13 million in annual professional service revenue and controlling a $35 million budget. Previous roles include Senior Director positions in Customer Support and Application Sales at SITA, where responsibilities included global service delivery and significant sales achievements. Gipson's earlier experience at Amadeus Global Travel Distribution included responsibilities for strategy development and P&L management for a large customer base, as well as leading commercial operations. Additional experience includes directorship at SystemOne and a start in reservations at Eastern Airlines.
