Nikolay Domanov

Nikolay Domanov, PhD, is a seasoned legal expert specializing in privacy, data, and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at SITA since May 2019. Previously, Domanov held the position of Manager Regulatory and Government Affairs at SITA, providing regulatory support and engaging in negotiations with global telecom providers. Domanov has a robust background in regulatory affairs from a role at SWIFT, where analysis of compliance with legislation was key. Domanov's earlier experience includes working as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament and conducting legal research for the Council for Electronic Media of the Republic of Bulgaria.
