Luca Castelli

Luca Castelli is a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at SITAEL since June 2021, bringing extensive experience in hardware design and system engineering. Previously, Luca served as a Senior Application Engineer at WEGH Group S.p.A. from March 2006 to June 2021, focusing on R&D for low voltage electronic and electrical systems in the railway sector. Luca also worked as a Power System Engineer at the IFAC-CNR Institute of Applied Physics from September 2003 to February 2006, collaborating on projects with the Institute of Nuclear Physics. Additionally, from March 1996 to March 2002, Luca held the position of Technical Responsible of LV Power Supply at CAEN AEROSPACE, specializing in SMPS power systems and high voltage designs for aerospace applications. Luca earned a degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering from Università di Pisa and also attended Istituto Tecnico Industriale "Galileo Galilei" in 1986.
