Waqar Hafeez

Waqar Hafeez has had a diverse range of work experience in the finance and audit sectors. Waqar started their career at Ernst & Young Global Limited in 2005, where they worked as an Audit Senior for three and a half years. During this time, they gained experience in various sectors such as manufacturing, insurance, commercial banking, beverages, service industry, and non-government organizations. Waqar'sresponsibilities included tasks like initial planning, risk assessment, designing test controls, substantive testing, compliance testing, and preparation of deliverables.

In 2010, Waqar joined Sitara Chemical Industries Limited as a Deputy Manager Internal Audit. Waqar was responsible for conducting internal audits within the company for a period of three months.

From the same year, they also joined Sitara Peroxide Limited as a Deputy Manager Finance and Accounts. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at the same company.

Waqar Hafeez pursued their education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 2002 to 2009. During this time, they completed a degree in Accountancy and obtained the prestigious Chartered Accountant qualification.
