Lamia Alabdulkarim is currently the Innovation Lead at SITE, focusing on research and innovation since 2020. Previously, they served as a Staff Engineer and worked as a Research Assistant in the Center of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence at Concordia University in 2008. Lamia held the position of Vice Head of the Computer Science Department and Lecturer at Al Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University from 2012 to 2014. They also gained administrative experience as an Administrative Assistant at Alabna Elementary School under the Ministry of Defence and Aviation in Saudi Arabia from 2005 to 2007. Lamia holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Computer Applications from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Applied Science from King Saud University.
