Darren Schaupp

Darren Schaupp has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. Starting in 2009, they worked at Samaritan's Purse, first as a Deputy Country Director/Acting Country Director in Ethiopia and then as a Field Management Consultant on a global level. In 2013, they joined American Leprosy Missions as the Vice President of Innovation and Ventures, where they led strategic direction and growth of the global program team and spearheaded health and tech innovations for people affected by Neglected Tropical Diseases. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded and became the CEO of SiteLabs, a company that provides on-site diagnostic solutions to independent pharmacies.

Darren Schaupp has an extensive education history. Darren began their educational journey at Southern Wesleyan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry from 1988 to 1991. Following this, they ventured into Asbury Theological Seminary, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Cross Cultural Studies between 1992 and 1995. In 1993, Darren also attended the Maryknoll Institute of African Studies for a brief period to study Anthropology. Moreover, they enrolled at the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology in the same year to explore Linguistics. Later, in 2002 and 2003, Darren attended the United States International University - Africa to pursue studies in Organizational Development.
