Julie Risse, PhD, MBA, is the Chief Business Officer at sitem-insel AG, responsible for sustainable business growth and the development of service offerings, industry partnerships, and innovation activities since September 2020. Prior to this role, Risse served as Manager of Business Development at Bachem, where significant contributions included expanding the new chemical entity pipeline with over 20 projects. Risse's experience also includes a position as Life Science Associate at Silicon Valley Bank, where valuation engagements for private companies were a focus. Risse has a strong academic background, with a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and multiple degrees from EPFL, complemented by an MBA from Hult International Business School.
