Gavin Hughes has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of architecture and engineering. Gavin has held various senior positions in different companies throughout their career.

Gavin started their career at Delta Electricity (now Energy Australia) as a Solution Architect, where they successfully implemented an energy trading and risk management system.

Gavin then joined National Australia Bank as a Senior Solution Architect, primarily focusing on digital and integration solutions within the Wealth Management group.

Afterward, they worked for AMP as a Digital Architect, where they contributed to the integration of AXA and AMP NZ into the digital platforms of AMP Australia.

Gavin then joined Perpetual Limited as a Solution Architect, working on the integration of the Perpetual and Macquarie web systems, among other tasks.

Next, they worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia as an Enterprise Architect and Manager of Enterprise Architecture, leading the ROBAS program to replace legacy government banking systems with modern platforms.

At Commonwealth Bank, they worked as a Senior Solution Architect for a brief period before moving to FIS, where they held the position of Senior Architect. At FIS, they played a key role in developing a new REST API-based core banking integration system.

Gavin then worked at Lorica Health as an Architect, responsible for the migration of healthcare analytics applications to cloud platforms and the creation of new target states and roadmaps for Lorica services.

Afterward, they joined National Australia Bank again, this time as a Principal Architect, managing a team of domain architects and contributing to the creation of target architectures and roadmaps for the Wealth business.

Currently, Gavin works at SiteMinder as a Principal Engineer, leading the Digital Journeys, Mobile, and Platform Shared Services teams.
