Melissa Falkner

Melissa Falkner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melissa began their career in 2005 at McDonald's Corporation as a Team Member. Melissa then worked as a Customer Service Associate at Coles in 2006. In 2007, Melissa joined BIG W, where they served as a Customer Service representative and acted as a service supervisor. Melissa also managed front-end staff and handled customer escalations. In 2009, they briefly worked at Port Bar Restaurant as a Restaurant Customer Service representative.

In 2014, Melissa joined AroundYou Pty Limited as a Content Writer, where they wrote, edited, managed, and scheduled content on the AroundYou local event and marketing website. Melissa then transitioned to Expedia Group in 2015 as a Lodging Content Associate. Melissa'sresponsibilities included onboarding new properties to the platform, training partners, and maintaining property content.

Melissa joined BIG RED GROUP in 2021 as an Account Services Executive. Melissa'srole involved managing all aspects of the Redii recognition and rewards platform and providing account management and customer success support. Melissa was also responsible for creating and optimizing help and FAQ content.

Currently, Melissa is a part of SiteMinder, where they hold the position of Product Content Writer & Release Coordinator. Melissa joined the company in 2022 and later transitioned to the role of Product Content Lead in 2023.

Throughout their career, Melissa has gained experience in customer service, account management, content creation, and training.

Melissa Falkner completed their Bachelor of Communication degree with a focus in Advertising from Western Sydney University from 2012 until 2014. Melissa also obtained a Digital Marketing Certificate in the field of Digital Marketing from ADMA IQ, finishing in 2017. In 2010 and 2011, they pursued further education at TAFE NSW, earning a Diploma of Advertising in Marketing as well as a Certificate IV in Public Relations in Marketing, Advertising & PR. Melissa attended Carlingford High School from 2003 to 2008. Recently, in 2021, they obtained a Statement of Attainment in Business Administration with a specialization in producing professional documents and spreadsheets from TAFE NSW.
