Michael Tuton

Michael Tuton has extensive work experience in the cybersecurity field, spanning over two decades. Michael currently holds the position of Director of Security at SiteMinder. Prior to this, they were the Head of Cyber Security Consulting for APAC at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, where they also served as the Head of Cyber Services for Australia and New Zealand. Michael has also worked as the NSW Practice Manager at Redcore Pty Ltd and as a Lead Security Advisor at Kloud Solutions. Earlier in their career, they held the roles of National Director of Security Solutions at CGI Australia and National Identity Management Practice Lead at Loop Technology. Michael also worked at First Point Global as a Partner in Identity and Access Management Solutions and at IBM as a Consulting IT Specialist and Integration Specialist.

Michael Tuton completed their Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) in Networking, Distributed Computing, and Computer Languages at The University of Queensland from 1993 to 1994. Michael also obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computer Science from the same university, spanning from 1990 to 1994.
