Kembra Howell has a diversified work experience in marketing and communications. In 2013, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Texas Tech University until 2015. Following this, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at ACS Engineering from May 2015 to July 2016. In August 2015, they also became the PR Manager at Front Stage Music, where they remained until July 2016. Kembra then joined KCBD-TV in October 2016 as a Digital Marketing Manager until August 2019. From August 2019 to April 2021, Kembra served as a Digital Sales Manager at the same company, and from April 2021 to March 2022, they held the position of Marketing Director. In January 2022, they became an Advisory Board Member at the Salvation Army of the South Plains, and in March 2022, they started working as a Marketing Manager at SitePro Inc. Recently, in September 2022, Kembra became a Founding Member of Lubbock Women For Good and previously served as the Communications Leader in the organization.
Kembra Howell obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from Texas Tech University, which they completed between the years 2008 and 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from the same university, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Kembra obtained two additional certifications: one from Grapevine's Lubbock Women for Good in August 2022 and another from LinkedIn in April 2022 for Product Marketing Foundations.
