Kim Howell

Kim Howell has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2008 to present. In their most recent position at Sitetracker, they serve as the Director of Product Design. Prior to that, at AlsoEnergy, they held the role of Director of Product Design, where they built b2b solar monitoring software and incorporated battery storage AI. Kim also worked as a Product Design & UX Lead at the same company. Before joining AlsoEnergy, Kim worked as a UX Researcher & Strategist at an unknown company from 2020 to 2022. Kim also served as a Senior Associate at ideas42 and held roles as Senior Experience Designer and UX Designer & Project Manager at C&G Partners. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Communications Officer and Communications Manager at the Women's Refugee Commission. Kim has also held roles at WITNESS, where they served as the Online Communications Coordinator, Editor for the Human Rights Channel on YouTube, and Social Media Intern. Kim began their career as a GBV e-Learning Designer and Communications & Livelihoods Intern at the Women's Refugee Commission. Additionally, they worked as a Client Relations Consultant and International Management Trainee at Meltwater and as a Deputy Field Organizer at Obama for America.

Kim Howell received a BA in Psychology & French from Georgetown University. Kim later completed an MA in Psychology at New York University. Additionally, they pursued User Experience Design through General Assembly's User Experience Design Immersive program. In 2005, they studied Islam, African History & Politics, and Hausa at the University Amadou Moumouni in Niger, West Africa.
