Ram Potham

Ram Potham is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as an AI Alignment Fellow at the Cambridge Boston Alignment Initiative since June 2025. Prior to this role, Ram was the Chief Executive Officer at Sitewiz, where the creation of AI agents for website optimization took place, alongside enhancing evaluation metrics to improve accuracy. Entrepreneurial ventures include the development of several AI-driven applications, such as BuzzBonus for social sharing and HireTree for recruiting. Additionally, Ram contributed as a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University's Chimps Lab, focusing on bias and fairness in AI systems, and as a consultant through AWS IQ, where expertise in machine learning services garnered a five-star rating. Early experience includes an internship at Harness, applying machine learning methods for forecasting. Ram holds a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University, expected to be completed in December 2024.
