Mohamed Zanaty is an accomplished engineer and researcher with extensive experience in research and development, co-founding companies, and higher education. Currently serving as a Research and Development Engineer at SiTime since May 2021 and as Co-founder and Head of Engineering at LUXNOUR TECHNOLOGIES INC., Mohamed specializes in high precision tools for micro LED display manufacturing. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, focusing on novel robotic systems and nonlinear elastic materials, and Doctoral Researcher at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where doctoral studies were completed from 2014 to 2019 in Microsystems. Additional experience encompasses research assistant positions at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau and imec, developing magnetic sensors and MEMS resonators. Mohamed also worked as a teaching assistant at Assiut University and served as a laboratory technician for the Hellenic Army.
