Executive Vice President - Land at Sitio Royalties

Britton James has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and industries. Britton began their career as a Landman at Whiting Petroleum Corporation in 2006 and worked there until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a Senior Landman at American Eagle Energy Corporation. In 2015, Britton became the Manager/Owner of Venturi Resources, LLC, where they worked until 2018. Britton then moved on to roles such as Land Manager at Arris Petroleum Corporation and VP of Land & Business Development at Clear Creek E&P, LLC. Britton also served in the Colorado Army National Guard as a Fire Support NCO from 2008 to 2014. More recently, they have held positions such as Land Manager at Rockies Resources, LLC and VP of Land at Desert Peak Minerals (KMF Land, LLC). Currently, Britton is the Executive Vice President of Land at Sitio Royalties.

Britton James attended the University of Montana from 2004 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, they studied Business with some Industrial Engineering at Montana State University-Bozeman.
