David Waisman

David Waisman has a diverse work experience spanning various finance and management roles. David currently serves as the Director of Finance at Sitka Salmon Shares, where they lead financial planning and analysis for budgeting, business initiatives, special projects, and new products. Prior to that, they worked at National Co+op Grocers as the Finance Project Manager and Finance Services Manager, overseeing financial operations for retail food co-ops across the United States. David also held the position of Director of Finance at Willy Street Grocery Co-op, where they implemented advanced business planning and budgeting processes to drive growth. Additionally, they served as Vice President at Madison Environmental Group, managing operations, finances, customer relationships, and consulting teams. David has also worked as a Strategic Planning Consultant and owned their own business at Forrest & Wise.

David Waisman completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing and Spanish at the Wisconsin School of Business from 1992 to 1996. David later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2002 to 2004.
