Joel Lindqvist

Joel Lindqvist is currently a Project Coordinator at Sitra, focusing on the Digital Power and Democracy project within the Democracy and Participation Theme since June 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Board Member at Ylva, where expertise in sustainability issues was applied, and as a Research Intern at the Centre for Consumer Society Research, specializing in Politics of Co-Creation. Joel's background also includes a role as a non-military serviceperson at the Ministry of Education and Culture, and board positions at the National Union of University Students in Finland and the Student Union of the University of Helsinki, addressing topics such as student finances, housing, and city advocacy. Educational qualifications consist of a Master's degree in Environmental Change & Global Sustainability and a Bachelor's degree in Social and Public Policy, both earned from the University of Helsinki.
