Jukka Vahti

Jukka Vahti has a diverse work experience in various roles, primarily in journalism and communications. Jukka started their career as a journalist at Satakunnan Kansa in 2004 and then worked at Aamulehti in 2006. In 2007, Jukka joined Helsingin Sanomat as a journalist and continued their journalism career there until 2008. From 2007 to 2014, they also worked as a journalist for Vihreä Lanka. In 2014, Jukka transitioned to a communications role and joined Sitra as a Communications Specialist. Jukka held this position until 2018 when they were promoted to Leading Communications Specialist. In September 2021, Jukka took on the role of Leading Specialist (Democracy and participation theme) at Sitra. Currently, they are serving as the Project Director at Sitra since April 2022.

Jukka Vahti started their education at Kokemäen lukio from 1996 to 1998, where they completed their high school education. Jukka then attended the University of Jyväskylä from 2000 to 2008, earning a Master's Degree in Communication and Media Studies. Additionally, at the same university, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Journalism during the same period. Furthermore, in 2012 to 2013, Jukka attended Freie Universität Berlin to study journalism, politics, and German language, though no specific degree is mentioned for this period.
